Many job matches often fail because the job, tasks, or setting did not match the job seeker’s interests and support needs. This course provides an understanding of why an innovative approach to career assessment is needed for people with disabilities. It then takes the user through the various steps, settings, and approaches that can be used to profile career interests, skills, support needs, and resources. The user will learn how to develop career goals through innovative vocational assessment, career development skills, and the process of “Discovery.”
